Miss Jacqui
Her passion for Spoken Word/Poetry blossomed in 2011. Miss Jacqui is deeply influenced by music that tells a story, which is why she places a strong emphasis on lyrical content in her work. She strives to make her work accessible to everyone while carrying messages that encourage listeners to see the world differently and feel confident in being themselves.
Miss Jacqui’s love for theatre began later in life, at age 13, when her mother enrolled her in an inclusive drama group to help her break out of her introverted shell. Since then, she never looked back, falling in love with the transformative power of theatre. Miss Jacqui has gone on to work with different theatres and create music for different shows.
Miss Jacqui also champions several organisations that align with her values of equality, community, and creating positive change. These causes are close to her heart, and she’s passionate about exploring different art forms to inspire others.
Driven by a belief that creativity is a universal language, Miss Jacqui spends her spare time exploring music, poetry, songwriting, theatre, and performance.
